Camp It Up!
Programs at Camp - Children aged 1-12

Camp It Up! is well-known for its exciting children's program. Children meet daily (except for Thursday which is the Counselors day off) in age-clustered groups. We usually run nine or ten different groups so your child will definitely be in a group with kids his/her own age. Each group is led by a Senior Counselor, a Junior Counselor and a Counselor-in-Training. Specialists in Art, Music, Dance, Drama and Sports work with the childrens groups as well.

Childrens groups meet on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday from 9:30 to noon. They also meet on Monday and Saturday evenings for an hour while the adults get to relax at an adults-only dinner. On Wednesday evening, the younger kids groups get together for pajama parties and older kids do an overnight (still on the camp grounds).

The childrens groups also participate in all-camp special theme day activities on Saturday morning as well as other special activities throughout the week.

We are very proud of the fact that most of our staff has grown up in camp, one-time campers themselves, and that they have a special commitment to and love for the younger children at Camp It Up!

In a given moment at camp, the little ones (one- and two-year olds) might be doing bubble art while the three- and four-year olds are playing music games. The five-year olds could be on a river walk, the six- and seven-year olds in crafts making shrinky-dinks and the eight- and nine-year olds playing Capture The Flag. The ten- and eleven-year olds might be at the stage playing drama games or on a Nature Treasure Hunt. Our teens could be at the lower ropes course or in the carpentry shop. Of course, one of the best things about camp is "hanging out with group" just playing and being silly and there’s lots of that!

Camp it Up! is a village about children and you can hear their happy voices, singing, laughing, throughout camp. Your kids will feel free at camp… it’s as life should be.
